We received a few details regarding the Criminal Activity DLC for Battlefield Hardline from Hardline's Multiplayer Producer Zach Mumbach. Mumbach confirmed 4 multiplayer maps that set in modern day California and Florida areas, two of these maps being night maps, and will offer more destruction. We'll also be getting some new vehicles as well, however no word if any new weapons will be included in the DLC. Mumbach did say however that new weapons will be coming to Battlefield Hardline at some point, and that they would be available to all players. So whether or not we'll see any as part of Criminal Activity we're not sure, but we can expect to receive some new weapons in Hardline at some point down the road as free content for all players.
Mumbach also said that the maps included with Criminal Activity would range in size, but we won't see larger maps coming to Battlefield Hardline until later expansion packs. He also stated that we "probably" won't see jets in Criminal Activity, which is no surprise, but with the "probably" I guess we can't rule it out as a possibility. Wouldn't get my hopes up though if jets are your thing.
Now this may not be all the information we receive on Criminal Activity, so don't count out new weapons quite yet. I'm sure we'll be learning much more about this expansion pack for Battlefield Hardline over the next month or so.
Battlefield Hardline's first DLC Criminal Activity will launch this June if all goes according to plan, and one of the Criminal Activity maps will be playable in the Battlefield Hardline CTE launching later this month.
What do you guys think about the information we've received on Criminal Activity so far? Also, what do you think about non-Premium players getting free content like new weapons?
