Battlefield 4 Multiplayer Features You May Have Missed @ E3 2013

In an exclusive interview with MP1ST, Karl Magnus sat down to explain some of the new features that were not deatailed publicly at E3 . . .

Battlefield 4 VS Call of Duty: Ghosts - Graphics Comparison

Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts will both be running on brand new engines.  So, we decided to put some of the latest gameplay from each game, side-by-side, to see which game has the better graphics overall.  Call of Duty: Ghosts will be running on the new IW Engine, and of course Battlefield 4 will be running on the new revamped Frostbite Engine 3.

From our comparison, we've come to the conclusion that although Call of Duty: Ghosts definitely has some major improvements, graphics wise, from previous CoD games, Battlefield 4 still has the better graphics overall.

We'd love to hear what you think, so make sure to leave a comment down below, and don't forget to Subscribe to Chance Gaming Media on YouTube!

Call of Duty: Ghosts - Jungle Tech Demo Gameplay

A new video from Call of Duty shows off some of the features of the new Call of Duty Engine.  Check out the video, and let us know what you think.  Which game do you think has the best graphics from what you've seen so far . . .Call of Duty: Ghosts or Battlefield 4?

Battlefield 4: Official "Angry Sea" Gameplay

As many of you already know, Infinity Ward and Activision had a Call of Duty: Ghosts "All Access" livestream just yesterday that showed off two portions of the singleplayer campaign of CoD: Ghosts.  Well, as always, when Call of Duty has a spotlight, here comes DICE to show us that Battlefield is here, and definitely competing to give Call of Duty a run for their money.  Now it would be wrong to say that the "gameplay" we saw for CoD: Ghosts was actual gameplay at all.  They showed off the mechanics of the new Call of Duty dog (Riley), and also had a spotlight for an underwater mission ("Into The Deep").  The CoD: Ghosts "gameplay" we saw . . .we believe was meant to showcase the new engine, more than showcase the actual gameplay, and you can definitely tell that the graphics have come a long way from previous Call of Duty titles.

DICE on the other hand took a very different approach with their "Angry Sea" gameplay reveal, showing off some high action gameplay, and really shows off the capabilites of the Frostbite Engine 3.  Check out the "Angry Sea" gameplay below, and let us know what you think in the comment section!

Xbox One Official Pricing & Release Window

Microsoft announced at their E3 2013 press conference that the Xbox One will be coming this November 2013.  No exact date has been set, however, the prices for the new Xbox One have.  If you want the new next generation console from Microsoft, you will only have to scrounge up $499.

The Xbox One will also come with the Xbox One Kinect and single Xbox One controller.  We expect there to be other Xbox One packages that include a game as well, obviously at an increased price.

What do you think about the price of the Xbox One?  Is it reasonable considering the new hardware advances?  Don't forget you will still need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership to play online, and of course other applications such as Netflix, Hulu, etc will also have their own fees.

I guess the only way to know if it's reasonable will be to compare the market value with the Playstation 4, which I'm sure we'll hear the price of the new PS4 soon.

Let us know your thoughts on the pricing of the Xbox One in the comment section below!

Call of Duty: Ghosts - All Access Gameplay Preview

Infinity Ward and Activision are attempting to build some more excitement for Call of Duty: Ghosts before E3 with an "All Access" gameplay preview of the singleplayer campaign.  In my opinion it really doesn't show too much as far as gameplay goes, but it does do a good job of displaying the new Call of Duty Engine, and you can definitely tell the graphical improvements from past Call of Duty games.  Enjoy the "All Acess" preview of Call of Duty: Ghosts, and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

Call of Duty: Ghosts - Campaign Gameplay (Sneak Peek)

With the Call of Duty: Ghosts "All Access" livestream taking place tomorrow, Infinity Ward decided to release a short gameplay preview of the singleplayer campaign.  The short segment doesn't really show off much, but at least it's something.  Check it out, and let us know what you think in that comment section below!

New Xbox One Controller Features Revealed

Some new features have been detailed for the new Xbox One controller, and it appears to contain some pretty neat technology.  Microsoft is not swaying far from the Xbox 360 controller with the core design for the Xbox One, which is a good thing if you like the 360 controller, however the controller does have about 40 new innovations, so it's certainly not the same controller.  Make sure to check out the video below which details the new Xbox One controller features, and let us know what you think in the comment section below!

Warframe - PS4 E3 2013 Announcement Trailer

Yet another free-to-play game has been added to the list of F2P games for the PS4.  Just moments ago Sony announced that Planetside 2 is coming to the next gen console.  Now Warframe, a futuristic ninja-based / clan-based action game has been announced, and once again, from personal experience . . .this game is pretty sick!  With all these free-to-play games coming to the Playstation 4,  Microsoft better let us know something really exciting soon before people begin to lose interest all together.  Hopefully they will reveal some new exciting information about the Xbox One by the E3 2013 event.

Check out this awesome announcement trailer for Warframe coming to the Playstation 4!

Planetside 2 is coming to PS4!

Sony announced today that the highly popular free-to-play MMOFPS, Planetside 2, will be coming to the Playstation 4.  This is great news for those of you who are planning on purchasing a PS4 because from personal experience . . .Planetside 2 is awesome!  Now, I must say though I'm pretty skeptical that Sony will be able to build Planetside 2 on the same scale for the PS4 as the PC version, and I'm sure the visuals for the next gen console won't nearly match up to what you can achieve on a high end PC gaming rig.  Regardless of the scale or graphics though, I'm sure Planetside 2 on PS4 will offer players an amazing gaming experience!

Check out the announcement video below!

The Last Of Us - Multiplayer Gameplay Footage, Screenshots, & New Details Revealed

With the release date for The Last Of Us about ten days away, some multiplayer gameplay and new multiplayer details are finally beginning to spring up across the internet.  The new details and gameplay confirm the leaked information we covered just yesterday, apart from the DayZ style gameplay.

The Last Of Us - Leaked Details Suggest DayZ Style Multiplayer

With the release date of The Last of Us right around the corner, Naughty Dog still hasn't revealed any solid details confirming what we can expect from the games multiplayer.  So far the only thing we've heard from The Last of Us developers is that the multiplayer will be "very unique" and "very fun."

Naughty Dog did however release a very exclusive beta demo of The Last of Us singleplayer, which was pretty much exclusive to only larger gaming networks, and within the code of this demo was found some pretty interesting details about The Last of Us multiplayer.  These details suggest that the multiplayer will be very similar to the Arma 2: DayZ Mod, which if you don't already know, is a highly popular zombie apocalypse style game.  If you'd like, you can check out the full code from the demo here, however we have a nice breakdown for you courtesy of Gamespot's Tonitorsi right here.
