Resident Evil Revelations Demo Coming May 14th

Sony just announced on the Playstation blog that the Resident Evil: Revelations demo will be hitting PSN on Tuesday May 14, along with Star Wars Pinball and Tiny Token Empires.  Now while I'll personally be busy with Metro: Last Light, if you've got some free time you may want to check this out.  Whether it's going to be available on XBL, we're unsure at this time, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to check.  We're assuming it will be though as the game is set to release on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on May 21st.  The game was originally dropped on the Nintendo 3DS, and has now been "redifined for home consoles and PC" according to the Resident Evil official site. This will be the sixth game in Capcom's Resident Evil series.

CGR Trailers - RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS Story Trailer by CGRtrailers

Resident Evil Revelations is set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, bridging the gap between the two titles. There are many new gameplay features and elements to look forward to in Revelations including a new "Genesis" device, which well allow you to detect hidden items throughout the game, as well as a new "terrifying" enemy, extra difficulty, improvements to "Raid Mode", a co-op mode which allows you and a friend to battle waves of enemies, and integration with ResidentEvil.net.

Both Game Informer and GameTrailers gave Resident Evil: Revelations a 9/10, while GameSpot and IGN both gave the game an 8.5/10.  Definitely a game worth trying out, so make sure to check out the demo and let us know what you think!  In the mean time, check out the Story Trailer above, and don't forget to bookmark Chance Gaming Media to keep up with all the hottest gaming news!

*UPDATE* The Resident Evil: Revelations Demo will be available on PS3, XBOX 360, Steam, and Wii U eShop, all on May 14th. Enjoy!
