DICE Makes Big Announcements About Battlefield 4

It's no coincidence that DICE has decided to make some major announcements about Battlefield 4 on the same day of the Call of Duty: Ghosts reveal at the Xbox Reveal event. Not only has DICE now announced the Battlefield 4 official released date, but has also announced a new "China Rising" DLC (formerly known as "Drone Strike"), that's available with all Battlefield 4 pre-orders, as well as the availability of Battlefield 4 for both the Xbox One and PS4 on the same day of the Call of Duty: Ghosts reveal at the Xbox Reveal event.

Well, I won't take up your whole day . . .let's get into the good stuff.

Battlefield 4 Release Date

Battlefield 4 will officially release on October 29, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The October 29th release date has been leaked several times, and this time the rumors hold true.

China Rising DLC

"Fight for dominance across the vast and majestic Chinese mainland in four massive maps using all new vehicles and high tech military equipment." States the Battlefield 4 official site. The formerly named "Drone Strike" Expansion now officially entitled "China Rising" will be available to all playerswho pre-order Battlefield 4. It's said to include 4 new maps, brand new vehicles, and high tech gear. It looks as though DICE will continue to offer 4 new maps with each of their DLC's, as well as extra bonuses such as weapons and vehicles. The official release date for the "China Rising" DLC is still unknown.

Battlefield 4 for Xbox One and Playstation 4

DICE has also announced the availability of Battlefield 4 for both the Xbox One and PS4. We all knew that Battlefield would be available for the two next generation consoles, but it's now official. You can also register on the Battlefield site to be notified when Battlefield 4 pre-orders will be available for the next gen consoles.

So DICE is definitely making sure that Battlefield 4 has a spotlight while Infinity Ward and Activision continue to promote their all new Call of Duty, promising the best Call of Duty experience yet.
