Here at Chance Gaming Media, we love MMO and FPS games. So needless to say, we were very excited to hear about Survarium, which is a combination of the both . . .an MMOFPS, which sounds like it could possibly be the next big PC only MMOFPS since Planetside 2.
So like many, and most games, Defiance launched with lots of bugs and issues. Defiance's Executive Producer, Nathan Richardsson, stated earlier on the Defiance official blog that they are serious about their game, and serious about addressing the issues that plagued launch.
"Call Of Duty: Ghosts" Leak Suggests Brand New Story, Characters, & Next Gen Engine. Better Graphics?
Just last week online game retailer, Tesco, revealed on their website that the alleged "Call of Duty: Ghosts" would be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on November 5th. The information was then taken down shortly after, and just today Tesco again released this statement on it's website (which has also been taken down), suggesting that "Call of Duty: Ghosts" will have an all new story, characters, and even run on a brand new, next-generation Call of Duty Engine:
According to a very credible Xbox information source, Paul Thurrott (Microsoft blogger) . . .the same source that brought us the first information on the Xbox reveal date and also reported that the next generation Xbox would require an internet connection to function properly, has recently reported that there will be two different price points for the next Xbox. One going for $499, and the other going for $299 for those who purchase a two-year subscription to Xbox Live's Gold Service, which retails about $10 per month.

Just the other day, IGN received an image of a display blueprint for the next Call Of Duty title indicating that physical posters should be hitting retailers starting May 1st. This will officially unveil the next Call Of Duty title!

No surprise here, but DICE & EA announced on Twitter that they will be attending E3 2013 and bringing Battlefield 4 with them. They haven't given out any details yet on what they will be revealing, but we're hoping that we will see some multiplayer gameplay, or at least get some more solid details on the Battlefield 4 multiplayer.
Well, I'm steering away from Battlefield in this post to bring you guys some pretty interesting Call of Duty news that caught my attention. Apparently Activision is seeking ways to bring a unique Call of Duty experience to mobile devices - one that will increase their presence in the mobile market. According to Activision Blizzard's Jon Estanislao sales are currently going "okay" on mobile, but they're very interested in bringing a unique experience to mobile platforms that will "evolve" the way customers interact with the brand.
Check out the Chance Gaming Media 2013 PC/Gaming Setup! Will this be enough to power Battlefield 4?
DICE still hasn't released any system requirements for Battlefield 4, however they have revealed some of the PC specs from the actual PC that powered the Battlefield 4 17 Minute "Fishing In Baku" gameplay reveal last month. First off, DICE revealed that they were running a quad-core Intel i7 CPU, and a Radeon HD 7990 graphics card. Which if you don't already know, this is one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful graphics cards in the world.
I was beginning to think that DICE had completely forgotten about Double XP for Battlefield 3, and I was personally hoping to hit that infamous level 100 Colonel by the time Battlefield 4 got here. Well, DICE hasn't forgotten about those of us who still play BF3, despite all the Battlefield 4 chatter, and are certainly making up for lost time with 96 hours, or four full days of double XP starting on May 9th!
So with both the Playstation 4 and next generation Xbox set to release later this year or early 2014 (both with new and improved motion control systems), DICE was asked if they would be implementing motion controls into Battlefield 4. Here's what DICE's, Patrick Bach told Edge-Online:
Even before Battlefield 3 dropped in October 2011, Battlelog has been the head of all Battlefield 3 social media, and will remain as the main social stat-tracking platform for Battlefield 4, and most likely any other Battlefield game that we'll see in our lifetime.
Some new information has been revealed regarding Battlefield 4, including the return of the "Commander" Game Mode from Battlefield 2, as well as the confirmation of three playable factions in the Battlefield 4 multiplayer. This information was spotted on some marketing material for GameStop (pictured below) which apparently hasn't reached every store yet, but should be worldwide very soon!
